Your words pierce my own self-absorption and chattiness that leave precious little room for the Father to speak to me, to share what is truly on His heart. As you suggest, it might disarm us totally and leave us wishing we hadn't asked. On the other hand, as we open up in trust to His heart of love, how could He be any less loving and supportive than we are with our own children? <br />You made me cry here too. I recognised myself in so much you said and I also recognised my Heavenly Pappa asking in His gentle whisper:"Will you let me speak to you too?" Time for some time out with Him.
